Responsibilities

• Performs well-defined technical tasks as part of a delivery team on projects of any complexity
• Able to carry out most database and/or application problem solving to resolution
• Demonstrates ownership of full consulting lifecycle (for own tasks) from planning and preparation, constructing consulting agenda, and post-engagement follow-up
• Raises bug reports and feature requests for customer-found issues
• Works as part of a wider delivery team comprising fellow consulting engineers, project managers and account teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with enterprise-scale software architectures, application development methodologies, and software deployment and operations is a plus
• Experience with MongoDB (DevOps and Security, MongoDB Linux and TCP Setting , add or remove Replica Set, Add or Remove Shards in a MongoDB Cluster, Indexing strategy for MongoDB, cluster creation and maintenance, etc.)
• Experience with MongoDB cloud Atlas is preferred
• Familiarity with Linux diagnostics and tuning; Windows tuning knowledge is a plus
• Availability for on call support or pager duty for weekends and off hours is a plus
