Motion Designer Team Lead

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in motion design, animation, video editing, or a related field, with a track record of delivering high-quality work
• At least 2 years of experience in managing a team of designers and creative production processes
• Mastery of Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, and other software
• Advanced knowledge of design scripts, plugins, templates
• Experience in using AI tools for video production and automatization of processes
• Fluent English is required
• A strong portfolio is required
• Demonstrated ability to lead small teams or mentor designers, providing constructive feedback and technical guidance
• Great time management skills, ability to work with weekly plans and meet deadlines
• Problem-solving mindset and autonomy, able to identify problems and bring solutions
• Highly process and detail-oriented mindset, able to optimize, automatize, and speed up creative production processes maintaining quality
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas and technical details to team members and stakeholders
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Proactivity and creative & innovative mindset

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor the team of designers, sharing experience and providing feedback
• Continuously optimize, automatize, and speed up creative production processes maintaining quality
• Manage and optimize the process of translations and resizes for different markets and platforms
• Produce engaging videos to advertise our app products on multiple platforms (15-20% of weekly tasks)
• Continuously discover, test, and implement new editing technologies, AI tools, and the industry's best practices to increase the efficiency of creative production
• Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to be updated on learnings and best-performing creatives and assets
• Search and manage freelancers in design to cover creative production needs
• Continuously be updated in marketing and design trends and share with a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in producing ads for performance marketing in social media (TikTok, Meta) and in Google. Creating paid ads for app promotion is a plus
• Knowledge of marketing and design trends for social media
• Knowledge of performance metrics and experience working with teams in marketing analytics and testing/optimization techniques is a plus
• Spanish is preferred but not obligatory
