Summary
Join Dynamo as an MPC Developer and contribute to the U.S. Coast Guard's Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) development. You will create and validate organizational and depot-level MPCs for various Coast Guard vessels, ensuring clarity and accuracy for technical personnel. This role requires technical experience in HM&E equipment, proficiency in Coast Guard systems, and excellent writing skills. The ideal candidate will possess experience with Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of Coast Guard supply procedures. U.S. citizenship and a Public Trust clearance are required. The position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000-$75,000 and is a remote position.
Requirements
- Possess Technical experience in the operation, repair, and support of HM&E equipment
- Possess Technical experience in the use of Coast Guard Standard Workstation III
- Possess Good writing skills, utilizing the applicable documentation resources
- Have Minimum of four years’ experience providing USCG entities with HM&E Maintenance Procedure Card Development for various CG assets, to include, but not limited to 282’ WMEC, 399’ WAGB, 418’ WMSL, 420’ WAGB, and 460’ PS cutters
- Be a U.S. Citizen
- Have Public Trust clearance
Responsibilities
- Develop and provide Organizational and Depot-level MPCs written at the comprehension level of a recent graduate from a rated technical school (A-School)
- Ensure Equipment nomenclature is standardized using Cognos Platform Load List or Fleet Logistic System (FLS) Configuration data
- Ensure Keen understanding of Ship’s systems to ensure correct system components are identified upon MPC creation
- Understand CG technical and manufacturer’s manuals for developing detailed instructions for completing a specified task. Example: Main Diesel Engine Lube Oil Change. Provide detailed step-by-step instructions on how to properly change the oil on an engine using CG related technical documents and drawings
- Complete validation of Maintenance Procedure Cards (MPCs) releasing MPC from Step 1-MPC Development within the Surface MPC Development Portal (SMDP)
- Verify CG-22 recommendations were completed as requested. If the recommended changes are unclear to the developer, they shall reach out to the CG-22 submitter for clarification prior to submittal
- Verify Components are correctly listed
- Verify number of components are correctly listed
- Verify personnel required for task
- Verify locations of equipment. Equipment location can be found using FLS Configuration or reaching out to LREPL support personnel

Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience in Microsoft® Power Point©, Microsoft® Word©, Microsoft Paint®, Microsoft® Excel©, Microsoft® Project©, Microsoft® Office© 365 Suite, Microsoft Teams, and Skype
- Have Knowledge of the Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) supply support procedures
- Have Active or ability to complete Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis Certification by the Coast Guard or NAVSEA within 6 months
