Net Developer

Summary

Join Harbor's Technology-Enabled Solutions group as a temporary .NET Developer for a 6-month contract. You will play a key role in supporting existing and new clients by developing and enhancing a business intelligence solution. This fully remote position, open to US-based candidates, involves working on responsive web applications, developing test scripts, and collaborating with offshore developers. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in .NET development, Azure services, and related technologies. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing team within a dynamic organization.

Requirements

• 2+ years of full life cycle application development experience
• Have permanent US work authorization
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with C#
• 2+ years of experience with SQL Server and developing database driven .NET applications
• 2+ years of experience .NET framework 4.0+
• 2+ years of Azure development
• 2+ years of experience in developing applications using Azure services
• 2+ years of JavaScript, jQuery / Git
• 2+ years of Start-to-finish application development lifecycle experience
• Effective task management and ability to balance multiple client engagements, deliverables, etc
• Ability to analyze, propose and implement timely, cost-effective, quality solutions for all issues or problems within area of responsibility
• Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team-based environment

Responsibilities

• Develop and test responsive web applications
• Develop test scripts to ensure the quality of applications
• Understand requirements in Agile environment and develop new application features
• Document requirements
• Implement product updates, features and enhancements to new/existing modules
• Support the creation of new modules and other practice development initiatives
• Work with offshore developers to review and improve code quality, requirements specifications and design methodologies
• Support development lead to drive improvements in the development process
• Assisting in gathering specification requirements from clients

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency or strong interest in web-based technologies such as: Bootstrap
• Demonstrated proficiency or strong interest in web-based technologies such as: CSS
• Demonstrated proficiency or strong interest in web-based technologies such as: Angular
