Summary

Join Encora as a Senior C# / WPF Developer to build complex, high-performance GUI applications. You will leverage your expertise in C#, WPF, and XAML to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable software solutions. This role demands strong problem-solving skills and collaboration with multiple teams. You will design, develop, and maintain C# GUI applications using WPF and .NET 4.5+, applying object-oriented programming and MVVM design patterns. The position requires experience gathering business requirements and implementing multi-threaded solutions for high performance. You will also participate in code reviews and risk assessment.

Requirements

• Strong C# and WPF background
• 6+ years developing C# GUI applications using object-oriented principles, including complex visualizations
• Proven experience with MVVM design pattern
• 2+ years developing WPF applications (.NET 4.5 and higher) with deep XAML expertise
• Experience gathering business requirements and implementing scalable software solutions
• Proven track record working with multiple teams on enterprise-level projects
• Experience with multi-threaded programming constructs
• Ability to assess and communicate risks related to enhancements and modifications in applications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex C# GUI applications using WPF and .NET 4.5+
• Apply object-oriented programming techniques and MVVM design patterns to create scalable, maintainable solutions
• Develop and optimize advanced UI visualizations such as grids, charts, and other interactive components
• Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into robust technical designs
• Implement multi-threaded solutions to ensure high performance and responsiveness
• Enhance and improve existing libraries and applications, evaluating and communicating associated risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise software engineering projects
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Experience developing business applications in the Oil & Gas industry
• Experience in developing REST API services (containerized/Docker-based services a plus)
• Full-stack development experience strongly preferred
