Summary
Join Intelligent Technical Solutions as our Network Administrator and become a pivotal member of our team, providing remote IT support to our clients. You will be responsible for resolving a wide range of technical issues, from workstation and printer problems to server and networking challenges. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and experience with various operating systems, virtualization technologies, and cloud services. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of network architecture and possess excellent customer service skills. Requirements
- Have experience with Windows and Mac OS troubleshooting
- Have experience with Server 2012 to 2022
- Have experience with VMWare and Hyper V Virtualization
- Have experience supporting M365 and Azure
- Be proficient in Firewall rules, VLAN configuration, access point support and administration, VPN tunnels
- Have a minimum of five years experience in IT Support or a similar role
- Possess advanced knowledge of Firewalls, Switches, Network architecture, and troubleshooting
- Possess advanced understanding of managing, and troubleshooting networks
- Possess advanced understanding of virtualized environments
- Have a home office set up that meets the following: A working computer with minimum of 8gb RAM, i5 Windows10 or macOS Big Sur. Stable internet connection with at least 5mbps download and upload. A quality headset with noise cancellation feature for meetings. A mobile phone that has the capacity to install the Microsoft Authentication app. HD webcam. 2nd Monitor. UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply ) if using a desktop (Not needed if using a laptop)
- Be a very strong cultural fit the ITS way (Our core values will be discussed during the interview)
- Have excellent command of the English language both spoken and written
- Be able to work full time 40 hours a week - 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Pacific Standard Time (PST) from Monday to Friday
- Be able to pass our online behavior and cognitive assessments
- Be able to provide NBI Clearance (for PH applicants)
Responsibilities
- Resolve workstation operating system issues of any kind
- Resolve printer issues of any kind
- Resolve standard business application (Office, etc.) issues of any kind
- Resolve line-of-business application issues for common applications (SAGE ERP, QuickBooks), and for more niche applications with vendor assistance
- Resolve server issues of any kind
- Resolve networking issues of any kind
- Serve as escalation point for technicians
Preferred Qualifications
- Have at least two of the following certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CCNA
- Have experience with Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
- Have Active Network Certifications
