Join Harbor Health, a transformative healthcare organization in Austin, as a Network Analyst. You will play a critical role in evaluating, developing, and maintaining our provider network to ensure optimal access, quality, and cost-effectiveness for our members. Analyze network data, identify gaps in coverage, and recommend strategic network expansion. Collaborate with contracting teams, support value-based payment models, and evaluate provider performance. Conduct market analyses, assist in developing network strategies, and work cross-functionally with various teams. Monitor member feedback and stay current on industry trends. Support growth and marketing teams by providing network analysis and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business analytics, statistics, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare network development, analytics, data management or similar role
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
- Experience with healthcare data systems and analytics platforms
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models, including value-based care arrangements
- Understanding of network adequacy standards and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Experience with SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Familiarity with healthcare quality metrics and performance measurement
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
Responsibilities
- Analyze provider network data to evaluate network adequacy, accessibility, and utilization patterns
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor network performance metrics
- Identify gaps in provider coverage and recommend strategic network expansion opportunities
- Collaborate with contracting teams to evaluate potential provider partners based on quality, cost, and member experience
- Support the development of value-based payment models and incentive structures
- Evaluate provider performance against established benchmarks and quality measures
- Conduct market analyses to understand competitive landscape and identify network optimization opportunities
- Assist in developing network strategies that align with membership growth and regulatory requirements
- Work cross-functionally with clinical, operations, and finance teams to ensure network alignment with organizational goals
- Monitor and analyze member feedback regarding network access and satisfaction
- Stay current on healthcare industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to provider networks
- Supporting the growth and marketing teams in winning accounts through providing network comparison analysis and network performance metrics
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the Austin healthcare market preferred but not required
