Summary

Join Oscar's Network team as a Network Specialist and contribute to membership growth and management by supporting the execution of local network strategies. You will ensure providers have the necessary information and support to deliver excellent member care and quality outcomes. This role involves collaborating with senior specialists, supporting contract negotiations, and documenting provider feedback to improve processes. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Network Contracting, this position offers a blended work culture with remote options, depending on location. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, or 1+ years healthcare or healthcare related field
  • 1+ years of work experience in finance, performance management, operations, consulting, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience with Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), and Powerpoint (or Google suite equivalent)
  • 1+ years of experience in a client facing or customer support capacity

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and/or execution of a network construction and support plan for a market or state with support from your manager
  • Meet defined metrics and Service level agreements including but not limited to provider issue resolution and/or contract completion
  • Support overall contracting negotiations including data entry, research, provider outreach, and/or other administrative tasks
  • Working with senior network specialists and management, support the Identification, sourcing, and/or contracting efforts with providers in a region
  • Document and share provider feedback, objections and questions to support the continuous improvement of templates and processes
  • Help with regular reporting on network adequacy, construction, and improvement as needed by management or Compliance
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience negotiating contracts, specifically with ancillaries, facilities, specialty providers, and physician groups
  • Experience in a customer support/customer service role
