Summary

Join Osmosis, a leading healthcare education company, as a Nursing Content Creator! In this fully remote contractor role, you will create and maintain engaging educational videos, assessments, and other content for nursing students and educators globally. Collaborate with a talented team of editors, illustrators, and video professionals to ensure accuracy and up-to-date information. This position requires an active Registered Nursing license, an advanced nursing degree, and experience in nursing education. Proficiency in technology and a commitment of at least 15 hours per week are essential. Requirements

  • Have an active unencumbered Registered Nursing license in any state or province
  • Hold a relevant advanced or terminal degree. Some examples include MSN, DNP, EdD, and PhD
  • Have experience in education especially of pre-licensure or undergraduate nursing students as well as nurse practitioner students or licensed practical nursing students
  • Be proficient in technology. As this role is fully remote, proficiency in digital communication tools and the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is key
  • Have the availability. We get it, healthcare professionals are some of the busiest people in the world. Writing accessible and engaging content takes time, so we ask that our content creators have at least 15 hours per week to give to working with our team

Responsibilities

  • Researching healthcare related topics to ensure that our content is accurate and up to date
  • Updating, writing, and editing video scripts and/or questions with delivery on a regular cadence
  • Communicating with our interprofessional team, editors, managers, and creative staff on an as-needed basis. Communications may take the form of online meetings or asynchronous communication through email and online messaging systems
  • Participating in other projects as needed by the team leads

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in writing, storytelling, or content development is a plus. Haven’t written a textbook or a journal article? No problem, we’re looking for experts who can write in a conversational tone, and we will provide training
  • Lifelong learner who reaches further and wants to develop professionally
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented teammate who has a bias towards action and solving problems collaboratively
