This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of relevant experience, proficiency in ECAD tools, and strong troubleshooting skills. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5 + years of experience working in product testing or related position
  • Strong ability to debug and troubleshoot systems, devices, and circuitry
  • Experience with ECAD tools (Altium, Eagle, Kicad) and have performed circuitry and PCB design
  • Demonstrated ability to apply engineering principles to find solutions to complex problems
  • Can use electrical troubleshooting equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer)
  • Experience with analyzing test results, yield, throughput, and other metrics to improve manufacturing quality
  • Working knowledge of quality disciplines and tools such as 8D
  • Maintains strong knowledge of the best practices in manufacturing methods, trends and developments in technology and equipment and can apply this knowledge to give the company an edge
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese
  • Strong time management skills and deadline oriented
  • Ability to work independently and in flexible working hours

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Engineers and Product Managers to explore solutions, find opportunities and takes concepts from ideation to execution
  • Review specifications and implement in the offshore production
  • Interface with contract manufacturers and suppliers on new product introduction, production requirements and resolve issues to meet production targets
  • Responsible for testing a variety of features with electrical, thermal, mechanical, and other embedded features, ensuring that all products produced are of high quality and best-in-class
  • Investigate, provide disposition and resolution to issues during and after production
  • Support sourcing efforts
