Summary
Join our dynamic Digital Product Engineering company as a Project Coordinator in China! This full-time position requires a highly organized individual to support project execution. You will be responsible for coordinating project activities, communicating with clients and vendors, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The role demands excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Based in Shenzhen for two years, you will serve as a key liaison between the onsite client team and the offshore project management. Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Have 1~3 years of experience in project coordination or a similar role (experience in Bank and especially Temenos/CBS Implementation is a plus)
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, or similar tools)
- Have the ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between project team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure effective communication and project alignment
- Schedule and facilitate project meetings, including team check-ins, status updates, and post-project reviews
- Prepare and distribute regular project updates and reports to internal and external stakeholders
- Assist Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project timelines, resources, and deliverables
- Monitor project progress and report status updates to senior management and stakeholders
- Track project milestones and ensure that deadlines are met
- Maintain and organize project documentation, including project plans, reports, and meeting notes
- Help track project resources and ensure that they are allocated efficiently
- Coordinate procurement activities, such as purchasing materials and managing vendor relationships
- Identify and escalate project risks and issues to the Project Manager or senior team members
- Assist in developing mitigation strategies and action plans to address project challenges
- Help identify opportunities to improve project processes and workflows
- Assist in implementing new project management tools, methodologies, or best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Hold a PMP or similar project management certification (or in progress)
- Have experience in the Banking & Financial Industry
- Have experience working on Temenos implementation projects
- Be team-oriented with a collaborative approach
- Have the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Possess a proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement
