Summary

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience with ClickHouse and Superset
• Strong background in streaming technologies, especially Kafka
• Experience designing and running on-premises data warehouse solutions
• Proficiency in SQL and database optimization techniques
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable data warehouse solutions using ClickHouse
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Superset to meet business reporting needs
• Integrate streaming data technologies, such as Kafka, to facilitate real-time data ingestion and analysis
• Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of data warehouse systems
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Optimise data models and queries for performance and scalability
• Implement best practices for data security, backup, recovery, and archiving
• Provide technical guidance and support for on-premises data warehouse operations
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data warehousing and analytics, and recommend improvements to our systems and processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
