Onboarding Risk Analyst

Summary

Join Paddle as an Onboarding Analyst and contribute to the execution of our Risk Strategy. Reporting to the Onboarding and Risk Manager, you will review supplier applications, investigate alerts, and communicate with suppliers to gather necessary information. You will make decisions based on available data, handle objections, and answer queries from commercial teams. This role involves identifying areas for process improvement and providing onboarding expertise. The position is based in Toronto, Canada and requires 1-3 years of onboarding/underwriting experience in a relevant field. Requirements

• Have 1-3 years Onboarding/Underwriting experience
• Have 1-3 years experience working in Merchant Acquiring, E-Commerce, SaaS or a similar role at a FinTech
• Have a proven ability to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures
• Be comfortable making decisions and supporting your decision
• Put a high value on accuracy and completeness of work
• Have strong data analysis and investigative skills
• Have the ability to communicate clearly, sensitively, and effectively with suppliers

Responsibilities

• Review supplier applications/accounts to determine if Paddle can support the business
• Investigate escalations from our internal teams
• Investigate alerts generated from our onboarding solution
• Provide insight to help make improvements in our onboarding process
• Provide expertise to the wider business in Onboarding
• Be confident in making judgement calls (at times based on limited information)
• Communicate in a clear and concise manner
