Operations Intern

Summary

Join our team as a Operations Intern and contribute to the design and implementation of projects for continuous improvement within the Operations area. You will have the opportunity to understand our operation, create tools and interfaces, manage databases, and collaborate with various teams.

Requirements

• Student in the last year of Civil Engineering, Industrial or related
• Have a valid student health insurance
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL or Python
• Passion for Xepelin and the problem we solve
• Deep interest in decision-making based on data and absolute understanding of our problem and industry
• Ability to translate user needs and behaviors into functionalities
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary and multifunctional teams
• Understand and be aware of technical limitations, always seeking scalability
• Be a collaborator, humble, and able to communicate well

Responsibilities

• Understand in detail our operation to identify opportunities for growth and execute improvements that increase speed, reduce costs, and allow us to continue advancing in offering an excellent service to our clients
• Create from scratch tools and user interfaces
• Manage our databases to measure processes, KPIs, and key results, back up data with improvements, and generate various reports and analyses for managers and users
• Iterate on the solutions created based on learnings to achieve continuous improvement in performance; seek to improve process standards and tools used for them
• Collaborate actively with various members of the Xepelin team, both within and outside the Operations management, such as Collections, Conciliations, Growth, Product, Sales, Risk, Financing, etc
• Have meetings with internal and external clients to show your solutions, get feedback, and iterate

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automations
• Experience creating graphical and numerical analyses, with ability to communicate them orally or in writing and suitable for each stakeholder
