Summary

The Operations and Logistics Manager for the B2B team at CookUnity will manage and optimize delivery operations, oversee logistical and fulfillment processes, launch new initiatives, handle order management/support, vendor management, strategic project management, data analytics, and ensure high-quality service for B2B clients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience running a large-scale national delivery fleet operation, with specific experience in managing Logistical, fulfillment, quality, warehouse, packaging and shipping operation for B2B clients. Experience in the meal delivery or food industry is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with key stakeholders in project managing strategic solutions, from conception through implementation
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in measuring KPIs, using data to identify solutions, and making informed decisions
  • Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills such as pro-actively reviewing delivery schedules and routes to prevent errors that could lead to missed/delayed deliveries
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (Spanish fluency preferred). Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and critically such as devising a backup plan for order fulfillment when encountering unforeseen supply chain disruptions
  • Team Player: Should be good at relationship building, enthusiastic about collaborating effectively with other departments, proactively offering support when needed, and contributing to a positive team culture

Responsibilities

  • B2B Fleet Management: Oversee the national delivery fleet operations for our B2B clients, ensuring timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of meals to clients across multiple regions
  • Logistics and Fulfillment Operations: Oversee logistical, fulfillment, quality, warehouse and packaging operations tailored to the needs of our B2B clients to ensure smooth and efficient processes from order receipt to delivery
  • Launch New Initiatives: Drive the development and implementation of new initiatives such as on-demand services, facilitating the adding of additional delivery windows, supporting expansion into the catering market and on-site services to continuously enhance our service offerings
  • Order Management/Support: Proactively address and resolve operational issues to minimize disruptions in daily operations. Provide order status updates to the B2B AM team as needed and handle order adjustments due to inventory shortages and discrepancies in addition to maintaining order accuracy
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party logistics providers to ensure high-quality service and adherence to delivery standards for B2B clients
  • Strategic Project Management: Lead and manage strategic projects aimed at improving logistics and delivery processes for our B2C operations. Collaborate with the necessary stakeholders and develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational performance, increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the client experience
  • Data Analytics: Utilize data analytics to measure KPIs, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Develop and implement strategies to improve delivery performance and client satisfaction, manage the logistics budget, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising service quality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience: Prior experience in a large scale Culinary operation industry is preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field
