Summary
Join our team as an Oracle Fusion Finance Functional expert in Fremont, CA (remote). This 12+ month contract role requires strong communication and experience supporting finance operations within Oracle Fusion, encompassing GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, ARCS, expense reporting, cost and inventory, consolidation, period-end close, and foreign exchange. The ideal candidate will have experience with multiple legal entities across countries, comfortable sharing best practices, and proficient in FRC reporting and Excel add-ins. The role involves both configuration and support, with a focus on a zero-customization implementation. Post-implementation, the role will transition to technical support, enhancements, updates, and patch maintenance. Experience in a manufacturing environment with order management and SCM is a plus.
Requirements
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Have experience working within a business and providing guidance
- Have experience with Oracle Fusion across all financial scopes (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, ARCS, expense reporting, cost and inventory, consolidation, period-end close, foreign exchange)
- Be comfortable with "out of the box" implementation (enforcing zero customization)
- Manage user access within the system
Responsibilities
- Provide finance support within Oracle Fusion across all financial scopes
- Share best practices and ideas for improving current processes
- Build FRC reports
- Utilize the Excel add-in for reporting and analysis
- Configure Oracle Fusion and provide technical support
- Handle all enhancements, updates, and patch maintenance post-implementation
- Provide operations support in a manufacturing environment within Oracle Fusion
- Share best practices and drive process improvement in inventory management, production lifecycle, and warehouse management
- Help the team scale successfully for high-volume production
- Communicate effectively between business and IT teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience with multiple legal entities across multiple countries
- Have experience with intercompany accounting functionality
- Have Period 13 experience
- Have experience with Oracle Fusion in a manufacturing environment with multiple locations and production planning
- Have order management and SCM experience
- Have FRC reporting experience
