Summary

Join our team as an Oracle Database 21c Subject Matter Expert (SME) on a contract basis to provide technical expertise, guidance, and support for Oracle-based systems of our client.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience working with Oracle databases, applications, and cloud solutions
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database administration tasks
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) is highly desirable
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
• Experience with deploying Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)
• Experience with deploying Oracle Database with direct attached storage

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Oracle-related matters, providing expert advice and support to internal teams and stakeholders
• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Oracle database systems, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define Oracle database system requirements and deliver solutions that align with business needs
• Conduct system architecture reviews and provide recommendations for improving Oracle database environments, including database tuning, patching, testing, and upgrading
• Support migration and integration projects involving Oracle Cloud, Oracle Fusion, and other related platforms
• Provide best practices for deployment and operations of the enterprise Oracle database
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, configurations, and operational procedures
