Outside Sales Representative

Summary

Join GoNetspeed as an Outside Sales Representative to help expand our fiber optics service into new areas. This role offers a base salary plus an uncapped commission structure, door-to-door canvassing, and the opportunity to learn and be trained in sales while earning a great annual income.

Requirements

• Experience in direct sales, preferably in door-to-door sales or B2B sales is nice to have, but not necessary
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships
• Must be able to work outside in any weather environment
• Must be available to work between the hours of 10AM-7PM, equaling 40 hours per week
• Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently and excellent attendance a must
• Valid Driver’s license and personal vehicle a must. Local travel to prospecting locations in your own vehicle

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the sale of GONETSPEED products and services including Fiber Internet, Home Phone and DTV Streaming to residential customers
• Engage and acquire new customers and close sales opportunities through door-to-door sales
• Identify and target potential customers within designated towns/cities
• Communicate and develop rapport with customers to understand their needs and preferences
• Maintain a detailed knowledge of features, benefits, product differences, pricing, and campaigns in comparison with competition
• Evaluate individual customers' existing and potential product needs and make recommendations
• Maintain sales production to meet or exceed individual quotas
• Represent the company at community events in targeted markets

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with the telecommunications or broadband industry and competitive landscape is a plus
