Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience in a related industry (e.g., industrial tools, construction, infrastructure, or manufacturing)
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels, from decision-makers to technical staff
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in closing complex sales
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a remote work environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a consultative sales approach
- Ability to understand and effectively communicate technical product features and benefits
- Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce or similar) and Microsoft Office suite
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the Northeast territory
Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential clients in the Northeast territory, including contractors, engineers, and project managers in industries such as construction, infrastructure, and manufacturing
- Conduct in-person sales meetings and presentations with new and existing clients to introduce bolt installation tools and solutions
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the companyβs products and services and be able to communicate their value proposition effectively
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals
- Provide accurate forecasts and maintain a pipeline of potential opportunities
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities
- Travel extensively within the Northeast territory (approximately 50% of the time) for client meetings, product demonstrations, and trade shows
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling products or solutions for the construction, industrial, or infrastructure sectors
- Familiarity with bolt installation tools or related products is a plus
- Ability to leverage digital tools and technology for sales tracking and customer management
- Being able to lift at least 50 Lbs
