You will source and onboard new freelancers, negotiate contracts, and manage day-to-day operations to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables. You will oversee the entire process from planning and budgeting to risk management and quality assurance, ensuring smooth collaboration with freelancers while optimizing resources for growth. Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing outsourced operations, ideally in a production or creative environment
  • Strong experience in sourcing, contracting, and managing freelancers
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools
  • Expertise in budgeting, planning, and cost management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing conditions
  • Knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies

Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and onboard new freelance talent: Grow a pool of trusted freelancers to contribute to the production output growth, taking full ownership of this pool management. Work cross-functionally with Legal and Accounting teams to ensure compliance with legal requirements and timely payments
  • Manage freelancer relationships: Coordinate day-to-day freelance tasks, facilitating clear communication and ensuring deadlines are met. Consistently evaluate the job market and adjust costs per content item accordingly: manage risks and proactively identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Establish and manage feedback channels between in-house team and freelancers : Liaise between internal team (editors, SEO) and freelancers to ensure alignment on briefs, guidelines, best practices, deadlines, and priorities
  • Collaborate day-to-day with the Content Coordinator : Work closely with the Coordinator to ensure optimal talent allocation, navigate changing task priorities, and react to business needs
  • Deliver timely reports : Create and maintain detailed scope plans, schedules, and timelines. Put together monthly reports on output and expenses

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with freelance platforms or outsourcing agencies
  • Experience with performance analytics and reporting
  • Understanding of international outsourcing and cross-cultural communication
  • Experience in creative industries or digital content production
