Paralegal

Summary

Join our team as a Paralegal to work remotely from anywhere in Latin America. As a legal professional, you will handle legal documents, collaborate with attorneys, and communicate professionally with clients. A Bachelor’s degree in Law or current law school enrollment is required, along with 1-2 years of paralegal experience. Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Law or currently in Law School is required
• Minimum of 1-2 years of paralegal experience
• Familiarity with specific practice areas (e.g., bankruptcy, immigration, family law) as needed
• Comfortable using technology tools for communication, document management, and research
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Understand and adhere to legal ethics and confidentiality requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
• Willing to work on the Pacific Standard Time schedule, this is a graveyard shift for the Philippines
• Own Laptop or Desktop (8GB RAM, Core i5 or above) with an internet connection of at least 10 Mbps

Responsibilities

• Handle legal documents and files efficiently in a remote work environment
• Maintain meticulous records for easy retrieval
• Utilize online resources and databases to gather relevant information
• Provide concise summaries and insights to assist attorneys in building strong cases
• Collaborate with attorneys to create accurate and well-structured legal documents
• Communicate professionally with clients via phone, email, or virtual channels
• Handle scheduling, appointments, and deadlines. Keep attorneys organized and on track
• Maintain organized case files, ensuring all relevant materials are readily accessible
• File documents accurately and promptly to meet court rules and deadlines
• Work closely with attorneys and legal professionals. Assist in managing their caseload, providing essential administrative support

Preferred Qualifications

Personal Injury experience is a plus
