Summary

KENTECH Consulting Inc. is seeking a part-time Course Designer to design, develop, and implement engaging learning experiences for their employees and clients. The ideal candidate should have a background in Instructional Design, proficiency in e-learning tools, and the ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design and course development
• Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools, graphic design software, and learning management systems
• Strong understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design models, and best practices in online education
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously on a part-time schedule
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams
• Strong creative and analytical thinking skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to troubleshoot issues related to course design, content, or technology
• Adaptability to changing priorities and the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, interactive online courses and learning materials
• Create engaging multimedia content
• Conduct needs assessments to identify learning objectives, target audiences, and knowledge gaps
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders
• Manage the development of courses on a part-time basis
• Utilize e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems
• Evaluate the effectiveness of courses through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics
• Ensure all course content adheres to relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Design courses with a strong focus on user experience
• Develop and maintain documentation for all course materials

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in instructional design or related areas are a plus
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and experience designing courses for diverse learner needs
