Summary

Join Level Access as a detail-oriented People Operations Payroll Analyst and contribute to our dynamic HR team. This role centers on managing payroll processes, analyzing HR data, and supporting various people operations initiatives to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency. You will process payroll, maintain records, address inquiries, manage tax accounts, analyze HR metrics, ensure compliance, and assist in audits. Collaboration with the People team to streamline processes and support onboarding is also key. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in payroll processing for the United States and Canada
  • Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Process semimonthly/monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure timely reporting of payroll-related data
  • Address payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Manage state and local tax accounts and ensure timely filing
  • Analyze HR metrics and payroll data to identify trends and provide insights to management
  • Prepare regular reports on payroll, turnover, and other HR-related metrics
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
  • Assist in internal and external audits related to payroll, benefits, and HR processes
  • Stay updated on changes in labor laws and payroll regulations
  • HRIS administration and management
  • Collaborate with People team members to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency
  • Assist in the onboarding process, including payroll setup for new hires
  • Help support employee benefits administration and inquiries

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce, Culture Amp, Pave, and Confluence
  • Certification in payroll (e.g., CPP)
