Join C.A. Fortune as our Payroll & Benefits Team Lead and manage all aspects of payroll processing within ADP Workforce Now. You will ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, guaranteeing accurate and timely paychecks. You'll also handle employee inquiries and prepare payroll reports. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with extensive experience in ADP Workforce Now and a strong understanding of payroll laws.

Requirements

  • Must have current ADP Workforce Now payroll processing experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of payroll processing experience with ADP Workforce Now, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
  • Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in payroll software and technology, such as ADP Workforce Now
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex payroll information to a variety of stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and analytical, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Knowledge of Outlook resources and MS Office software including, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the payroll processing function in ADP Workforce Now, including reviewing and verifying payroll data and ensuring accuracy of employee payroll information for multi-state, multi-cadence payrolls
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable payroll laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Develop and implement payroll procedures, processes, and controls to improve efficiency and accuracy of payroll operations
  • Train and supervise payroll team members, ensuring they are knowledgeable about payroll processes and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as People Team and Finance, to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing
  • Manage relationships with external payroll vendors, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of payroll data and processing
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees and respond to payroll inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of new hires, terminations, promotions, and other payroll – related changes
  • Prepare and analyze payroll reports, including payroll tax reports and W-2s
  • Reconcile benefit invoices on a monthly cadence
  • Ensure accurate benefit deductions are reflected in payroll

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current ADP Workforce Now payroll processing experience
  • Payroll Tax experience with multi state workforce
