Requirements
- Associateβs or Bachelorβs degree preferred
- Payroll, HR or Accounting experience preferred
- Experience working in customer service or employee support preferred
- Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
- Experience with Workday HRIS system preferred
- Experience with ADP SmartCompliance preferred
- Solid performance record
- Strong verbal and written communications
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Superior Excel skills
- Ability to work in a team on projects and independently
- Customer service and etiquette skills
- Discretion involving personnel and legal matters
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to change
- Knowledge of compliance standards
Responsibilities
- Correctly compile and summarize payroll information
- Enter payroll data for processing
- Ownership of the garnishment process
- Respond to questions from employees regarding payroll and compensation matters
- Support the Compensation Manager on relevant research projects as requested
- Assist Compensation Director in ownership of payroll taxes including state, federal and local
- Maintain all tax/local authority log-ins and manage the notice process
- Prepare Accounting Entries and Reconciliations
- Partner with HRIS team for new/updates taxes, earnings codes, deductions, reporting, etc
