Payroll Specialist

You will collaborate with various teams, maintain confidential payroll records, and ensure compliance with employment laws. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and proficiency with technology. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of experience in payroll or human resources.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process payroll data across our nationwide network of schools and corporate teams using a third-party payroll system
• Ensure compliance with employment laws across multiple states and legal entities
• Support new location setup, including filing applications for payroll tax, unemployment, and other regulatory needs
• Ensure accurate payroll records and reports
• Maintain and safeguard confidential payroll records and employee data
• Assist with employee onboarding, offboarding, and status changes in our HRIS
