Perforce Systems Administrator

Summary

Join Mindera's team as an Experienced Perforce Systems Administrator, responsible for administering, configuring, and optimizing the Perforce version control system. Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure effective Perforce usage in development workflows. Maintain the Perforce environment's health, manage integrations, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices. This role requires strong systems administration skills, deep understanding of version control, and excellent problem-solving abilities. Expect 0%-15% travel, depending on projects/clients. Requirements

• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, specifically with Perforce version control systems
• Strong understanding of version control concepts, branching, merging, and release management
• Experience with Perforce environment configuration, performance tuning, and issue resolution
• Proficient in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash) for system tasks
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch and maintain the Perforce server environment and client applications
• Install, configure, patch and maintain the Linux operating system on which Perforce is installed
• Confident in enterprise deployment and understand replication and failover options
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within Perforce
• Monitor and optimize the performance of the Perforce server
• Implement Perforce server solutions that align with the company disaster recovery plans
• Provide front-line and backend technical support and troubleshooting for all Perforce-related issues
• Ensure the integrity and security of source code repositories
• Develop and maintain documentation for Perforce administration and usage

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of Perforce with other development tools is a plus
