Performance Test Lead

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in performance engineering and testing
• Strong expertise in JMeter DSL for creating and automating performance tests
• Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and InfluxDB for monitoring and visualization
• Proficiency in Java for developing performance scripts and integrating with testing frameworks
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and integrating performance tests into pipelines
• Deep understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices (load, stress, endurance, and capacity testing)
• Strong analytical skills to interpret performance metrics and troubleshoot performance issues
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage performance testing activities across multiple teams and projects
• Develop performance testing frameworks using JMeter DSL and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines
• Design and execute performance, scalability, and load tests for applications and infrastructure
• Monitor application performance using Grafana, Prometheus, and InfluxDB, identifying bottlenecks and recommending solutions
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure performance is embedded in the SDLC
• Analyze performance metrics and generate comprehensive reports to provide insights and actionable recommendations
• Mentor junior team members and build performance engineering capabilities within the organization
• Ensure continuous improvement of performance testing and monitoring processes and tools

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-based performance testing
