Physician - Virtual Health Assessment

Join Oscar Medical Group's Virtual Health Assessment team as a Physician! Deliver quality care to patients virtually via phone and messaging. Supervise Advanced Practice Providers. This remote position requires licensure in specific states (Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia). The base pay is $188,000-$246,750 per year, plus benefits and bonuses. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Requirements

• Board-certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Must be licensed in GA
• 3+ years experience in an outpatient family or internal medicine practice
• Strong understanding of risk adjustment methodologies, including HCC coding principles
• Familiarity with HEDIS measures, including their role in quality improvement and performance measurement

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state by state regulations
• Provide medical care virtually (both by phone and message) in alignment with Oscar Medical Group guidelines, practices and policies
• Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of Telemedicine experience
• IMLCC compact Physician license or eligible to apply
• Fluent in Spanish
• Licensed in TN, MO, PA
• Supervision experience of Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA)
