Platform Engineer

Summary

Join NinjaHoldings as a Platform Engineer and contribute to the design, development, and automation of our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with Software and Risk Engineering teams to optimize our environments and deployment processes. This role requires a proven track record in designing and deploying robust, cloud-native solutions at scale. As a highly motivated self-starter, you will leverage your expertise in modern technology and software engineering practices. Requirements

• 3+ years of technical experience in an engineering organization
• Extensive experience building highly available, fault tolerant cloud-based systems
• Excellent technical understanding of distributed system design and development
• Experience implementing automated CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and IaC
• Experience in container-based architectures using Kubernetes
• Solid fluency in Linux-based environments and network engineering
• Demonstrated excellence in multiple programming languages
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated solutions for deploying highly available, fault tolerant cloud-based infrastructure
• Streamline and standardize internal development and deployment processes
• Create and maintain detailed technical specifications and documentation for proposed solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience setting up modern 3-tier web application platforms on AWS
• Experience with Ruby, Python, Terraform, GitHub Actions and/or Kubeflow
• Experience in multiple SQL and NoSQL database technology stacks
• Excellent technical understanding of modern web application development practices
• Passion for security, observability, and failover
