Join TrustYou's Platform/Infrastructure team as a Platform Engineer and contribute to building and operating our private cloud. You will play a key role in planning, implementing, and maintaining our Kubernetes infrastructure, automating infrastructure provisioning with GitOps workflows, and ensuring reliable deployments for engineering teams. Your responsibilities include monitoring and optimizing our cloud, implementing security best practices, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and supporting other engineers. This remote position, based in Germany, Spain, or Romania, offers flexible working hours and a collaborative team environment. Requirements
- More than 5 years of total experience, with at least 1 year managing a Kubernetes infrastructure with IaaC tools like Ansible
- Proficiency in Linux and one or more scripting languages
- Knowledge of networks, especially Kubernetes CNIs
- Solid understanding of the CI/CD principles and the GitOps approach
- Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo or Thanos
- Teamwork skills, with clear communication, flexibility, openness to debate and challenge
- Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed environment
- Fluency in English
Responsibilities
- Planning, implementing and maintaining with a DevOps mindset our Kubernetes infrastructure which runs on bare metal servers
- Automating the process of provisioning infrastructure with GitOps workflows
- Enabling the rest of the engineering teams to run frequent and reliable deployments
- Monitoring, analyzing and optimizing our cloud to meet business requirements and SLAs
- Implementing and maintaining security best practices and compliance standards
- Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime
- Thinking forward and co-creating the vision for the future
- Supporting and mentoring other engineers
Preferred Qualifications
- Able to take ownership of a complex private cloud setup together with the rest of the Infra team
- Experienced with distributed storage systems like CEPH or Minio
- Experienced operating one or more of PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, ElasticSearch, ClickHouse or RabbitMQ in a data intensive environment
- Familiar with public clouds like AWS or Azure
- Having a bias for automation
- Looking forward to adopting AI extensively, both for the daily work and as part of our SaaS platform
- Strongly aligned with business goals, with definition and measurement of relevant KPIs
