The candidate will be a Platform Engineer at Union.ai, responsible for building a platform that supports products on various computing platforms, designing continuous integration strategies, expanding the Union Cloud product to multiple cloud providers, developing tooling for system reliability, and improving developer experience. Requirements

  • Strong technical background with 5+ years experience as an Infrastructure, Platform or SRE Engineer
  • Curious engineer with a desire to work at a fast-paced startup
  • Experience leading complex projects from planning to completion
  • Proficient in writing complex software using Golang and Python

Responsibilities

  • Design and build a platform that allows Union to support its products on any computing platform, including cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, as well as large enterprise data centers
  • Design and build continuous integration, verification and deployment strategies for distributed software applications
  • Help the team expand the Union Cloud product to multiple public and private cloud providers
  • Develop and maintain tooling to make our systems more reliable, secure and performant
  • Design and build scalable monitoring and observability systems and best practices
  • Work closely with broader Engineering teams to improve developer experience
