Plumbing Designer

Summary

Uptalent.io is seeking a Remote Plumbing Designer to join their global team of Mechanical and Industrial Engineers. The role involves creating and designing plumbing systems for residential and commercial buildings, working with a cross-functional team, and ensuring designs comply with internal standards and codes.

Requirements

• Experience with design of typical building plumbing systems including domestic water, waste/vent, and storm piping systems
• Proficient knowledge of International Plumbing Code
• Proficient in MS Office
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit
• Minimum one year experience with plumbing system design (domestic, sanitary, storm)
• Ability to travel occasionally
• Experience with design of specialty systems such as laboratory gases, acid waste/vent, and cryogenic systems
• Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD

Responsibilities

• Provide plumbing system design support for projects
• Provide input for continuous improvement of designing processes
• Continue to develop design and drafting skills
