Requirements

• Turn around full-length video episodes on a twice-weekly schedule, inclusive of sourcing and implementing stills, and B-roll and adding graphics as needed
• Understand SEO/audience strategy on video platforms (with a focus on YouTube) and in particular, within the video podcast landscape
• Possess knowledge of social media and engagement tactics for various platforms’ audiences
• Have experience with managing freelance contributors within a news environment
• Possess knowledge of workflow management
• Ability to work under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive podcast production services for Pivot video episodes —including recording, assembly, editing, and publishing
• Develop and evolve visual language for video for current productions and potential new projects
• Collaborate with team producers on editorial decisions throughout edit phase
• Direct freelance producers working on social videos
• Collaborate with producers on guest and topic ideas
• Maintain a high attention to detail and rigor throughout all production stages and on all delivery assets

Experience with audio engineering/sweetening
