Portfolio Strategy & Analytics Sr Manager

Summary

The job is an individual contributor role in the Portfolio Strategy and Operations team at Ping Identity, focusing on enhancing the portfolio data analytics function and working closely with Product Management. The role requires 3-5 years of work experience in management consulting or analytical roles, a degree in business, economics, or other analytical concentrations, excellent quantitative and financial modeling skills, understanding of pricing and value realization for software, and experience working with clients or customers.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of work experience in management consulting or analytical role; familiarity with enterprise software/SaaS industry a plus
• Degree in business, economics, or other analytical concentration
• Excellent quantitative and financial modeling skills as well as ability to effectively present and communicate insights and recommendations
• Ability to create complex financial models and compelling business cases
• Understand pricing and value realization for software (design, development, marketing sales, implementation and support)
• Experience working with clients or customers, meeting facilitation, and whiteboarding

Responsibilities

• Conduct key pricing and discounting analytics to determine product portfolio performance and recommend key actions to improve financial performance
• Analyze various financial and operational metrics to measure the effectiveness of the product portfolio from a go-to-market and customer adoption perspective. Identify key trends, root causes, and action plans. Drive follow up and closure of action plans
• Analyze growth trends identifying value capture opportunities
• Develop new KPIs and work with cross-functional stakeholders to implement continuous optimization plans
• Lead pricing and product data related projects and initiatives independently and manage stakeholder expectations
