Power BI Engineer

Requirements

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Possess 3+ years of experience as a Power BI Engineer or in a similar role
• Be proficient in using Power BI, with strong knowledge of Power Query, DAX, and Data Modeling
• Have experience with data visualization best practices, ensuring clarity and effectiveness of reports and dashboards
• Be knowledgeable in SQL and have experience working with relational databases
• Have understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing
• Have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information accurately
• Have excellent communication skills that allow you to articulate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, Agile environment

Responsibilities

• Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques
• Provide ongoing reports
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports within Power BI
• Ensure the availability of actionable insights for decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with Azure services for data storage and processing
• Have familiarity with Python or R for advanced data analysis
• Have previous experience in consulting or a digital agency environment
• Have relevant Power BI certifications
