Requirements

• 4+ years of experience working with Power BI, including dashboard creation, DAX, and Power Query
• Hands-on experience with Tableau, understanding how to translate Tableau visualizations into Power BI
• Strong SQL skills for querying and optimizing data sources
• Experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and performance optimization in Power BI
• Understanding of Tableau data sources, calculated fields, and visualizations to facilitate the migration process
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in data validation and report accuracy
• Strong communication skills to work with business stakeholders and technical teams
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote and collaborative environment

Responsibilities

• Execute the migration of Tableau dashboards and reports to Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and visualization consistency
• Develop optimized Power BI data models to enhance performance and usability
• Work closely with business users to understand reporting needs and translate them into efficient Power BI solutions
• Identify and implement best practices for Power BI development, including DAX calculations, data transformations, and performance tuning
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure seamless integration with data sources and ETL pipelines
• Validate migrated reports against Tableau versions to confirm accuracy and completeness
• Train and support end-users in adopting Power BI, ensuring they can leverage the new platform effectively
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI dashboards, data connections, and report performance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Data Services, SQL Server, or other cloud-based BI solutions
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and automation
• Familiarity with Alteryx for data preparation
• Prior experience in consulting or client-facing roles
