Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Power BI development and implementation, with at least 2 years in a project lead or managerial role
  • Proficiency in Power BI Service/Report Server, Power Query, DAX, and other related tools and technologies
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end project management, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify data patterns, trends, and insights
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and team members at all levels
  • Leadership abilities with a proven track record of successfully leading and managing project teams
  • Experience in working with diverse industries and domains, understanding various business processes and challenges

Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead end-to-end project management activities for Power BI implementations
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of Power BI developers and analysts
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish strong relationships with clients, understand their business challenges, and provide strategic recommendations for leveraging Power BI
  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with clients to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for Power BI solutions
  • Solution Design: Develop Power BI solutions by designing data models, creating data visualizations, and implementing appropriate business logic
  • Data Integration: Work closely with data engineers and data architects to identify and integrate relevant data sources into Power BI
  • Dashboard Development: Design and build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BI
  • User Training and Support: Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users, enabling them to effectively utilize Power BI features
  • Quality Assurance: Perform thorough testing and quality assurance of Power BI solutions

Preferred Qualifications

Power BI certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker) are preferred but not required
