Summary

Join Encora as a fully remote Functional Analyst, supporting EST work hours, and leverage your 5-9 years of experience in business analysis, functional consulting, or product ownership. This role combines Systems Analyst, Functional Consultant, and Product Owner responsibilities, focusing on designing, implementing, and improving Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse). You will act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, defining, prioritizing, and managing the product backlog. Strong understanding of business process modeling, digital transformation, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and product management best practices are essential, along with excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and documentation skills.

Requirements

  • 5-9 years of experience
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Strong understanding of business process modeling and digital transformation
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management best practices
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and documentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team
  • Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog in alignment with business goals
  • Own the vision, roadmap, and lifecycle of Power Platform-based solutions
  • Conduct stakeholder workshops and gather high-level business needs to shape product features
  • Analyze existing systems and business processes to identify automation opportunities using Power Platform
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs
  • Develop wireframes, mockups, and user stories to communicate functionality
  • Perform gap analysis and recommend configuration/customization strategies
  • Assist in solution architecture and integration planning with Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 (if applicable)
  • Oversee the delivery of Power Platform solutions through Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
  • Coordinate UAT, training, and change management activities with end users
  • Monitor performance, collect feedback, and iterate on solution enhancements post go-live
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and architects to ensure high-quality implementations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate or related certifications
  • Experience with Dataverse, Dynamics 365 CRM, or SharePoint Online
  • Familiarity with governance, security, and ALM within the Power Platform ecosystem
  • Basic knowledge of connectors, APIs, and low-code/no-code development best practices
  • Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset
  • Self-starter with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Passion for user experience and continuous improvement
