Remote Pricing Associate

Summary

Join our team as a Pricing Associate on our NOAM Insurance team and own the pricing integration and financial analysis for our diverse range of insurance products.

Requirements

• Completion of at least 4 SOA/CAS exams
• Working towards completion of ASA/ACAS is preferred
• At least 1 to 3 years experience working in General Insurance lines of business preferred
• Strong technical, analytical and mathematical skills
• Advanced SQL and Excel skills, demonstrated by the ability to create complex queries, automate data processes, and perform detailed financial analyses
• Programming skills in R and/or Python skills desirable
• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Statistics or Mathematics

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Insurance and Partner Services team to design and implement our unique insurance products
• Analyze the database to monitor existing insurance products to optimize pricing structure and segmentation
• Provide pricing insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders to support business decisions
• Contribute to the development and implementation of product strategy through pricing to achieve business objectives, with a keen eye towards ensuring rate adequacy and overall underwriting profitability whilst maximizing CG revenue
• Support the ongoing underwriting performance monitoring with actuarial techniques and assist in the production of loss ratios and other key insurance metrics for different product / market segments
