Requirements

• A degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, or Data Science
• Deep knowledge of the UK insurance market and regulatory framework
• Proven experience in retail insurance pricing roles, ideally for Motor and Home products
• Proficiency in pricing tools (e.g., EMBLEM, AKUR8) and programming languages (Python, R)
• Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels
• A track record of leading pricing projects or teams

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to achieve profitable growth while adapting to market demands
• Analyze performance metrics, monitor competitor pricing, and optimize portfolio profitability
• Lead the design and improvement of pricing models using actuarial and statistical methods
• Partner with MGAs, internal teams, and compliance to align pricing decisions with regulatory and market requirements
