Principal Analyst Relations Manager

Requirements

• 7-10 years in analyst relations, preferably in the cybersecurity industry
• Established and positive relationships with analysts and influencers
• Knowledge of trends in communications and analyst relations
• Strong interpersonal, written/verbal communication skills and attention to detail
• Experience working directly with executives, product management and product marketing functions
• Ability to be creative, strategic, analytical, and think outside the box to solve problems and secure opportunities
• Ability to develop metrics, build executive summaries and communicate business and technology insights

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key industry analysts at leading research firms (Gartner, Forrester, IDC, 451 Research, etc.)
• Drive strategy and execution of analyst engagements - inquiries/briefings, advisory days, event sponsorships, analyst roadshows, etc
• Drive analyst awareness of Veracode and significantly expand analyst understanding and support of our differentiation and value propositions
• Deepen and broaden relationships between Veracode and the global analyst community. Effectively communicate Veracode’s POV, value propositions, use cases, announcements, key differentiators
• Collaborate with executives, Product Marketing and other cross functional teams to build and execute strategic plans, analyst engagements, and a strong customer reference pipeline
• Own analyst contracts and negotiate renewals, reprints and other important analyst related contracts
• Generate Analyst Relations content, including briefing documents, messaging, competitive positioning, newsletters and thought leadership pieces
• Provide feedback on content and messages. Prepare executives and other spokespeople for analyst engagements
• Provide strategic guidance on product roadmap communication to analyst community
• Manage reporting, results analysis and distribution of all key analyst reports to bring key insights and efficiency to the organization
