Summary

The job description is for a Principal Architect role at 3Cloud. The main responsibility is to ensure customer success by delivering client data strategy engagements. This role requires expertise in various Data Management, Business Intelligence, Analytics concepts, and Microsoft Azure technologies. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, minimum of 5 years of experience with database design and Azure technologies, and previous Consulting experience are required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with database design and Azure technologies, and previous Consulting experience
  • Expert knowledge of Data Management, Gen AI, Business Intelligence and Analytics concepts including: Data Movement (ETL/ELT), Data Warehousing (Designing and Implementing, Azure SQL, Synapse), Azure Storage Technologies (Data Lake, Blob Storage), Data Governance (including Data Quality and Profiling, Master Data Management, and Metadata Management), Business Intelligence, including Reporting and Visualizations (Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and Scorecards), Predictive, Prescription, and Descriptive Analytics
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure technologies: Azure Open AI Services, Cognitive Services (Visual, Language, Decision, Speech), Azure Machine Learning, Azure Bot, SQL Server on premises plus cloud supported versions, Azure Data Factory (including ARM templates), Azure Data bricks, Azure Synapse, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Lake/Azure Blob Storage, Power BI for reporting and analytics, Azure DevOps (including building Stories and tasks, and using development pipelines and ARM templates for publishing code)
  • 10+ years of data and analytics experience
  • Extensive knowledge of business process design and optimization, especially related to data and technology
  • Experience with Financial Valuation for Data and Analytics
  • Ability to run workshops with business stakeholders leveraging methodologies such as Design Thinking
  • Experience designing Data Management Operating Models
  • Experience working with frameworks such as DMM, DAMA, and TOGAF
  • Aptitude for critical and analytical thinking as well as the capacity to accept out-of-the box solutions
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication, and facilitation skills
  • Product Management knowledge
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a project team
  • Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills for both technical and non-technical teams
  • Passionate about learning new technologies

Responsibilities

  • Lead and demonstrate emerging technologies and concepts to teams
  • Lead the delivery of a broad range of data engagements
  • Manage project delivery teams to ensure quality and client satisfaction
  • Lead effective requirements gathering and/or design thinking workshops to identify key information required to define client current state, business objectives and future state recommendations
  • Lead design of the modern data platform architecture based on requirements
  • Lead/Mentor the team for implementation for the client engagement
  • Conduct detailed assessments, analyses, and interviews to understand and explain client problems and utilize standard consulting engagement practices such as facilitation, interviewing, gap analysis, etc., to gain the critical insight required to develop the elements of a comprehensive data strategy
  • Identify, develop, and document issues, perform analysis, draw conclusions, and formulate strategic recommendations
  • Create strategy, assessments, vision, roadmaps, and business case deliverables
  • Actively develop client relationships at all levels
  • Demonstrate thought leadership regarding the 3Cloud Data Practice and actively recommend areas of possible improvement based on client delivery experience
  • Monitor technology trends, especially related to data management, to facilitate client discovery conversations and influence 3Cloud offerings, capabilities, and ISV partnerships
  • Leverage advanced database systems including data warehouses, data marts, and models needed for business, financial and operational analysis and/or reporting with Azure technologies
  • Design and help develop high performing, reliable and scalable solutions
  • Clearly communicate technical details to business and management personnel

Benefits

Base Salary Range: $149,200 — $238,700 USD
