Join our dynamic Digital Product Engineering company as a Project Manager! You will plan, organize, and manage resources to ensure successful project completion, partnering with cross-functional teams across Technology, Engineering, and Operations. Experience in project management, strong communication and collaboration skills, and a BA/BS degree are required. The ideal candidate will also possess PMP certification and experience with JIRA and Confluence.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in related field (i.e., Change management, process improvement, project management,) or academic equivalent training or projects
- BA/BS degree
- Demonstrated analytic, strategic and tactical planning skills
- Strong time management and prioritization skills with a demonstrated ability to execute against multiple projects and excel in a fast-paced, cross-functional and results-oriented work environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to work with all levels and functions within the organization
- Experience with Technology and Engineering development activities
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint
- Executive Presentation
- Meeting Facilitation
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, secure, and manage resources to bring about the successful completion of the client's goals and objectives
- Partner with Product, Technology, Engineering, and Operations project stakeholders to deliver across cross-functional teams
- Facilitate meetings to execute strategic deliverables to drive key decisions
- Use network terminology, as well as business acumen in addition to industry recognized/generally accepted PM knowledge to achieve a project's stated objectives
- Manage multiple complex and strategic projects under minimal supervision
- May also lead large multi-year programs, such as device launches, which can include multiple projects across a variety of functional areas
- Manage roadmaps and program deliverables under minimal supervision.Β Serves as the liaison between Technology, Engineering and Product and Operations teams
- Facilitate discussions to drive directional alignment of program roadmap
- Manage budget including tracking of status, variance explanations and resolving cost issues against the approved Earmark
- May provide guidance and direction to more junior project management staff, including resource onboarding and execution support
- Develop detailed project schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports; tracks key project milestones and adjusts project plans and/or resources to meet needs of customers
- Coordinate the resources to successfully complete the project
- Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet customer expectations
- Communicate major milestones and reports on project progress throughout the project lifecycle or specific phases within the Solutions Delivery Life cycle (SDLC)
- Identify potential program/project dependencies and risks; conducts regular status meetings to review activities; manage prioritization across multiple projects
- Set and manage client expectations, managing and escalating issues and changes
- Measure progress toward goals and review project objectives; document and apply change control procedures
- Evaluate the impacts and risks of changes from multiple perspectives, assign tasks that are necessary to reduce or eliminate those considerations
- Create and deliver Executive level presentations as needed
- Manage the creation and tracking of processes, procedures, and documentation that improve program governance
- Serve as champion of the client's EPMO Governance Methodology
- Partner with other PMs in the portfolio to share best practices and key project information
- Lead project teams across two product portfolios
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of a Telecommunications network is a plus
- PMP certification is good to have
- Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence is a pus
