Principal Engineer - T24 Technical Lead

Summary

Join our Digital Product Engineering company as a T24 Technical Lead – Private Banking and oversee complex development initiatives. Lead development and delivery on T24 and TAFJ R23+ platforms, design and implement scalable solutions using Temenos technologies, and collaborate in a SAFe Agile environment. Work closely with stakeholders, drive technical design reviews, mentor development squads, and ensure regulatory compliance. Maintain strong communication, manage resource allocation, and adhere to platform blueprints and security standards. This role requires extensive T24 and TAFJ experience, along with expertise in various Temenos technologies and strong leadership skills.

Requirements

• T24 and TAFJ R23+ with hands-on experience
• Multi-Company and multi-app server implementation experience
• Skilled in Design Studio, job schedulers, SQL Developer, cloud environments
• Temenos Unit Test framework expertise
• Deep knowledge of T24 COB and Services frameworks
• Integration framework, IRIS, Outbox Streaming, MQ, JBOSS
• Minimum 15 years of hands-on T24 development experience
• Strong functional understanding of Private Banking and Financial modules
• Experience with SWIFT messaging, STP processes
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication skills
• Systematic, meticulous, and service-oriented team player

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery on T24 and TAFJ R23+ platforms in a multi-company, multi-app server setup
• Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure solutions using Temenos technologies
• Collaborate in a SAFe Agile environment; participate in ceremonies and sprint reviews
• Resolve RTB issues and ensure production stability
• Deliver robust integration through Interaction & Streaming frameworks, MQ, JBOSS
• Build and maintain custom solutions using Design Studio, GitLab, JIRA, SQL Developer, AWA, and Temenos Unit Test framework
• Monitor system health using Tivoli, Dynatrace, Splunk
• Work closely with Finance, Operations, Project Managers, and Change Engineers
• Maintain strong communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Drive technical design reviews and enforce architectural guidelines
• Mentor development squads, manage resource allocation and deliverables
• Ensure compliance with platform blueprints, security standards, and estimation frameworks
• Ensure adherence to industry regulations and risk management standards
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate development and delivery risks
• Adhere to BJB development standards and T24 best practices
• Maintain accurate documentation and traceability across all development artifacts
• Collaborate with system architects, PMs, and test management to uphold platform quality

Preferred Qualifications

• T24 upgrades, migration and data archiving experience
• Familiarity with Tivoli, Dynatrace, Splunk
• Understanding Oracle DB, Linux shell scripting
