Principal Network Consultant

Summary

Trility Consulting is seeking a Principal Network Consultant with over 10 years of experience in network engineering. The role requires expertise in Layer 2/3 LAN/WAN configuration, router and switch configuration, administering next-generation firewalls, and knowledge of Azure VNet integration, peering, and private DNS configuration. Preferred qualifications include experience in Azure cloud environments, understanding of dynamic routing protocols, and proficiency with F5 load balancers.

Requirements

• Must reside within the United States
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
• Must be able to pass a background check
• 10+ years working in network engineering
• Expertise in Layer 2/3 LAN/WAN configuration and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in router and switch configuration
• Experience in administering next-generation firewalls
• Knowledge of Azure VNet integration, peering, and private DNS configuration
• Experience working with Cisco and Fortinet products
• Experience with F5 load balancers

Responsibilities

• Partner with Trility clients, taking them from ‘napkin to production’
• Listen to client challenges with empathy while using unique problem-solving skills to discover the right approach and deliver value throughout the engagement

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years working in Azure cloud environments
• In-depth understanding of dynamic routing protocols, mainly OSPF and BGP
• Hands-on experience with SSL and IPsec VPN configurations
