Principal Product Designer

Summary

The position reports to the Head of Design and requires extensive experience in product design, a strong understanding of blockchain and crypto payments, and expertise in Figma. Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in product design work, with a proven track of building amazing products
• Solid understanding of blockchain and crypto payments
• Expertise in Figma, including scalable design and advanced prototyping
• Strong understanding of product creation and handoff processes for web development
• Examples of applied accessibility design practices

Responsibilities

• Designing from scratch, enhancing, and maintaining the Layer1 product flows
• Creating shareable interactive prototypes of Layer1 implementations to aid the sales and marketing efforts
• Contributing to improvements to the design system and UI kits

Preferred Qualifications

Basic experience with front-end development is a plus, to facilitate more fruitful conversations with FE developers
