Summary
The job is for a Principal Product Designer in the Fintech team of Hopper. - At least 7 years of experience designing consumer-focused products on web and mobile
Responsibilities
- Deliver solutions with a focus on a great user experience while balancing customer needs, company goals, design cohesion, and ease of implementation
- Own end-to-end user journey and all aspects of design execution from customer research to ideation to prototyping to usability tests to final product
- Seek out, understand, incorporate and communicate qualitative and quantitative feedback throughout the design process leveraging surveys, user testing and user data to measure feature performance
- Dive deep on product data to identify opportunities to improve the product through design
- Lead design reviews with an external partners and make strong business cases for why we should build what we want to build
- Work autonomously in a cross-functional, agile product group with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Scientists to prioritize and build new features
Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of usability and user experience principles and demonstrated experience in visual design with a great sense for aesthetics
