Summary

Join Huckleberry as a Principal Product Manager and partner with Research, Design, Engineering, and Marketing teams. You will define, own, and drive the product roadmap across mobile apps and websites, deeply understanding user segments and needs. Responsibilities include planning and executing the product roadmap, collaborating with design and research teams, defining product requirements and success metrics, managing products from ideation to delivery, identifying opportunities for new features, expanding app usage and engagement, increasing customer conversion rates, and leading Agile ceremonies. The ideal candidate possesses 7+ years of experience in product management within a consumer product business, strong analytical and quantitative skills, a proven track record of success, and excellent communication skills. Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience owning and managing products from 0-1 and 1-n in a consumer product business, ideally with experience in mobile and/or subscription-based businesses
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to understand user needs to influence product roadmaps, plans and execution
  • Track record of prioritizing and connecting initiatives to broader business priorities
  • Experience empowering and motivating a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality, delightful experiences across both web and app
  • Can-do attitude with a proven track record of getting things done
  • Strong oral and written communication across both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience in direct user testing, A/B and multivariate testing, and data analysis
  • You thrive in a startup or other high-ambiguity environment
  • $170,000 - $220,000 a year

Responsibilities

  • Plan, own, prioritize, and execute a product roadmap based on business value and customer impact
  • Collaborate with design and research teams to understand customer needs, identify gaps, champion and validate your solutions by leveraging a variety of methods (surveys, user feedback, product analytics, experiments, user testing, etc.)
  • Define product requirements, measurable success metrics, and write user stories for new features & initiatives. Manage products and projects from ideation to delivery and iteration
  • Own the outcomes of your initiatives by anticipating bottlenecks, iterating quickly, and making tradeoffs to balance the business and customer needs against technical or operational constraints. Communicate your projects’ status and impact on the business on an ongoing basis to the cross-functional leadership team
  • Identify, research, evaluate, and recommend opportunities for new experiments, features, and products that would enhance the user experience and drive positive business outcomes
  • Expand app usage and engagement by identifying feature gaps and building new features to address them
  • Increase free-to-paid customer conversion rates through improvements to our purchase experience and by demonstrating the value of membership to our customers
  • Effectively break down the Product Roadmap for Engineering and lead Agile ceremonies for the team, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint demos, and retrospectives

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with user behavior-oriented or habit-forming apps a plus
