Principal Product Manager

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience at an enterprise software company
• Strong understanding of one or more of the following: cloud-managed services, databases, SaaS, DevOps, security, management & governance, and overall enterprise software market
• Experienced in product lifecycle management
• Organizational and leadership abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Creative, innovative, and solution-oriented mindset
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relative work experience

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the development of enterprise-grade technologies and features
• Translate customer business needs into product and technology requirements
• Influence and drive product roadmap and measurable business outcomes that align with Striim's mission
• Communicate key product differentiators, best practices, and value to field teams and our customers
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ship new, impactful products and features
• Ensure optimal user experiences for end users by working closely with UX/UI teams
• Make decisions from ambiguous data, and support your reasoning with data and analysis
• Drive cross-functional decisions via alignment with customers, sales, product marketing, customer success, business development, and technology partners

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of distributed systems and/or streaming systems
• Background in software development and program management
• Familiarity with Agile framework
